Every year, a book is made of the poems which, in the opinion of a single editor, are the best (or their favourites!) They are chosen from all the small journals published that year. Best Canadian Poetry is published annually by the illustrious Biblioasis Books..

For 2025, editor and poet Aislinn Hunter selected 50 poems. My poem “Where I’ve Been” is among them.

On April 29th I will join 5 other poets to read our work at Queen Books in the east end of Toronto. Hosted by the series editor Anita Lahey. It’s been a long time since I read anywhere and I am looking forward to it. Everyone is welcome.
