Every year, a book is made of the poems which, in the opinion of a single editor, are the best (or their favourites!) They are chosen from all the small journals published that year. Best Canadian Poetry is published annually by the illustrious Biblioasis Books..

For 2026 editor and poet Mary Dalton selected 50 poems. My poem “Checkpoint of the Mouth” is among them.

On November 19th I will join a few of the other poets to read our work at Queen Books in the east end of Toronto.
