Asphalt Poetry

As part of Toronto’s King Street Pilot project, PLANT Architects painted Ronna Bloom’s poem “The City” on the directly on King Street. Each letter is approximately one foot high and the whole poem is about 3 metres wide, making it a poem to be read with the whole body as the reader walks back and forth. Some text is flipped so it can be read from the streetcar. See more here “Asphalt Poetry.”
