I am so pleased and massively honoured to have a poem in Best Canadian Poetry 2021. The authors included range from high school students to well, Margaret Atwood. For my bedside table, this is the poetry I want. 50 poems chosen by Souvankham Thammavongsa, a longtime poet-friend and winner of the 2019 Giller Awards for her book, How to Pronounce Knife. (For you not from Canada, the Giller is like the National Book Awards or the Booker.) You can get a copy here.
I will be reading my poem “Is it Safe?” at the launch on November 4.
